Neither A FILM BY, nor PRASAD STUDIOS, nor developer Prasad claims any proprietary interest, copyright, license, royalty, or commercial rights in your creative work. We do not inspect, claim, or assert rights over user-created screenplays.
3. Local Storage Architecture & User Backup Responsibility
The A FILM BY website functions as a local-first application. Your screenplays are stored directly in your web browser on your personal device.
No Automatic Server Backup: The website does not store backup copies of your screenplays on external servers. You are solely and personally responsible for maintaining adequate, regular backups of your writing. To safeguard your scripts against browser cache deletion, device loss, or browser profile corruption, you should routinely download .afilmby project backups and PDF copies to your personal cloud or external storage.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use A FILM BY solely for lawful creative writing, screenwriting education, narrative analysis, and production preparation. You agree not to:
- Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the operational integrity of the website or connected network infrastructure.
- Deploy automated scripts, web crawlers, or scraping tools that burden or degrade service availability for other filmmakers.
- Falsely claim official endorsement, partnership, or sponsorship by A FILM BY or PRASAD STUDIOS without prior written agreement.

- Courier Prime: Distributed under the SIL Open Font License (OFL) by Quote-Unquote Apps for industry-standard screenplay formatting.
6. Service Availability & Modifications
